Bettina Burmann

As a business graduate (Diplom-Kauffrau) and certified Project Management Professional (PMP®) with extensive experience in project management and leadership roles in national and international environment, I take care of the needs and requirements of finance, controlling and human resources departments. My main focus lies with project management of IT projects, managing the software selection processes and accompaying necessary process optimization coming along with the introduction of new software. 

Proficient in SAP Finance based on numerous end-to-end implementation cycles I provide valuable advice on business intelligence projects.

After having successfully completed my studies of Business Administration at the University Erlangen-Nürnberg in May 1995 I started working at the Bundesanstalt für Post und Telekommunikation in Bonn as Deputy Head of Management Department.

My change from the public sector to Origin Deutschland GmbH also meant a change into IT consulting starting with a SAP training and a certification as SAP R/3 Application Consultant „Accounting“. The first projects working as a junior consultant together with experienced SAP consultants were soon followed by implementing SAP FI in rollout projects on my own.

As a senior consultant with CSC Ploenzke AG I worked on SAP Finance implementation and rollout projects for industrial and finance companies in Germany as well as abroad. In addition, I took responsibility as project manager on Euro Conversion projects in the finance sector.

From 2002 to 2011 I was employed at LEONI AG, a global market leader among cable technology companies. I started as SAP project manager, advanced to teamleader SAP Finance and later to Head of Department SAP Group Applications.
